Tempdrop App- Cervical Mucus Cross-Check Feature
The Cervical Mucus (CM) cross-check is an optional feature in the Tempdrop app that adds an extra layer of confirmation before marking ovulation. When enabled, the app requires both a valid temperature shift and a valid Peak Cervical Mucus day to confirm that ovulation has occurred.
How it works:
When CM cross-check is turned on:
- The app looks for a Peak CM day (marked as P123 on your chart), based on your cervical mucus observations.
- Ovulation will only be confirmed if a valid temperature shift happens close in time to that Peak day.
💡 To make this feature work well, be sure to log your mucus every day until a P123 appears. Record “none” or “dry” on dry days.
If the two signs appear too far apart, the app takes a conservative approach and won’t confirm ovulation.
When to turn it off:
If you:
- Prefer to rely on temperatures alone, or
- Don’t consistently track cervical mucus
You can turn this feature off in Settings > App Settings. The app will then confirm ovulation based on your temperature data only.
